Alex Carpani is an Italian keyboardist and composer that has collaborated with several prestigious artists of the International prog scene such as David Jackson of Van der Graaf Generator, Paul Whitehead (Genesis, VdGG, etc.) and Aldo Tagliapietra of Le Orme.
He's the author of "Waterline", a successful progressive rock album issued in 2007 by CypherArts (U.S.A.), which has been enthusiastically reviewed by almost 50 International magazines and webzines. The album has also been airplayed by some of the world's most popular prog radios like: Prog Rock Radio (U.S.A.), Progulus (U.S.A.), Radio Cantù (Italy), CKRL (Canada), Radiopulsar (France), Laser Radio (The Netherlands), etc.

The ALEX CARPANI BAND has been formed in 2007 to perform Alex's music all over the world. Since its birth, it has performed in Italy, U.S.A., Denmark, Mexico, Norway, Lithuania.

The band is composed by some of the best talents of the Italian neo-prog scene:

• Ettore Salati on guitars and bass pedals: he's the former guitarist of Italian prog band The Watch and has collaborated with International artists like Karl Potter and David Jackson.
• Marco Fabbri on drums and percussion: he's also the drummer of Italian prog bands The Watch and Odessa and French band Eclat, being one of the most demanded drummers of the contemporary prog scene.
• Fabiano Spiga on bass, acoustic guitar and vocals: he's a multinstrumentist, a song writer and also member of Italian prog band Arcanoise.

The ALEX CARPANI BAND will play in 2009 in England, Lithuania, Sweden, Poland and other countries to be confirmed, being an International prog band of the contemporary scene.
